67 GTX 727 transmission mounting question.

Greetings everyone...

Question: How does the 727 trans mount to the transmission crossmember on my 67 GTX? Is there something similar to a motor mount between the trans and the crossmember Is it one bolt or 2? Are spacers used or not?

There is a rubber mount that attaches with studs and nuts. The mount is molded with 2 studs which attach to the transmission and 2 which attach to the mount with nuts and lock washers.

The mount shown above is the mount I need for my 68, but everywhere I look I only find this one...
Are there 2 types and where can I find the one in zyzzyx's post?

Here's a polyurethane one that would probably work. Or post in the WTB section and someone on the forum most likely has one they'd sell to you.

For a street application the poly mount may not be desirable. Check if there is a difference between 4 spd & auto. I forget. Lots of suppliers out there.
