I went to visit the car today and was shocked to see it out in front of the shop and black. Door jams and body have been done, but they still need to paint the trunk, top side of trunk lid, top side of hood, quarter panel extensions and hood scoops. For a gloss black, it came out slicker than owl **** and the 1/8 mile of quarter panels appear to give nice smooth reflection. I am very pleased. They still have until May 21st to get it back to me within two years! I wish I could have gotten better pictures, but the car was under a carport, part in the shade and part in the sun with recent rain on the sunny part.
I am very glad I did not decide to pull it out of the shop in pieces. The guy does very nice work when he decides to do it.

Quick question for owners of similar models. Should the steering column be gloss black like the inner front doors or a flat/satin black more like the dashboard? It is flat/satin black now, but I can't swear anything on this car is original.
Thanks!
