Can someone help me with an antenna that will work on 67 gtx with a removal mast to allow a car cover for non driving off times

Do a quality electric antenna. Lowers when the radio/key cuts off.. Just dont buy the cheapest ebay one they fall apart. Ask me how i Know..

Why not use the antenna grommet that comes with a quality car cover?
I'm so lazy sometimes.
I have a nice antenna but I haven't installed it on my 66 because it is so much easier to put the cover on without it.
Besides I don't have the radio installed either.
Maybe this year I'll get back to all the little details that slipped once I got it running and driving.

Well good idea haven’t pulled cover out yet maybe hope for grommet !

The cover on my Hemi has what looks like a rat chewed through it. Yet perfectly placed over that arial.
