I posted this before the pandemic hit and there were many views. I also have it up on Hemmings. I really need to sell Big Red, my 1967 Plymouth Satellite convertible with its original 383 V8 upgraded to 4bbl. This was a labor of love restoration to save a rare classic. I don't drive it enough to do right by it and I need to free up my garage so I can get some critical renovations done on my house (I used to joke that this car was my new kitchen because of what the restoration cost).

Someone needs to love and drive this car. The cosmetic restoration is excellent and it drives great--scares the crap out of the rice burners on I-95 who don't realize this 50 year old beauty has big bones and a lot of life in her. The car has the original engine and has been restored to mostly original specs. In deference to being in the South, I put white interior and a new white convertible top on it (with new hydraulics). To go with the white interior, I put red carpeting instead of the original black. Otherwise, the original red paint was used to restore the same color, painted by a master painter--it's stunning. The car had very little rust when I bought it. So you can see that and how much work was done to it, here is a link to what the car looked like when I bought it in 2014: https://www.uniqueautollc.net/details/used-1967-plymouth-satellite/159661

Extensive mechanical restoration has also been done in the last year--new distributor, points/plugs/coils, new exhaust system (with replacement cherry bombs--sounds incredible), new alternator, new Holley carburetor, new power steering gear box, new hoses, new starter, new drum brakes, new fuel tank/sender, and more. Full records and build sheet are available, as are parts that were replaced (ie 2 barrel carburetor and old manifold for purists). Many photos. Put a whole lot more into it, but I'm now asking $40,000.00 or best offer. The car is located in Central/Coastal Florida, but I can coordinate with any transport arrangements. Thanks for looking and please message me with any questions or an offer.

She's a stunner. I've got a 67 GTX convertible that I hope comes out as nice as that when it comes home, next week from a resto session. Good luck with that sale.

Thanks! Sadly, there appears to be a lot of views here and on Hemmings, but so far only one contact since Feb 1 and he wanted it, but couldn't work it out. I can't give it away--it has many thousands of dollars in it over the asking price so it's a shame. I hate to think I may have to just part it out to get rid of it.
