67 satellite part number question

was told this a/c trim plate for the instrument panel came out of a 67 A/C car and took the guys word for it but went to install it the other night and there is about 1/4 all the way around but has the same curves as my old non a/c trim plate has... I’ll attach a picture with the part number found on the back. Just curious if this is what belongs on the car. Any help would be much appreciated!

Forgot to mention the two screw holes line up perfectly in the instrument panel
 
It is from a 1966 Plymouth, they are same shape but smaller.

There are many dozens of parts that don’t interchange from 66 to 67.
 
If anyone reading this and has one for a 67 that is willing to sell one, DM me if not I guess it is added to the list for Carlisle next month
