Headin out to Cincinatti today to pick up a 1967 Satellite. Gonna drive it back to Denver over the next week, if it makes it! Will post some pics of it over the next few days. Looks like a nice car, supposed to run good with the fresh 400 engine and fresh torqueflite. Will try to document the journey as it evolves.

yes do that all the whores will be waiting for some car ****.:headbang:

Checked out the car tonite, looks and sounds great! Thank goodness it has 3.23 gears in it for hiway use! Will be able to get pics thurs. This is literally a barn find! He keeps it in the barn at a dairy farm! Lol

Vacumn advance diaphragm was leaking, causing an air leak into the carb. This resulted in a slight engine sputter at part throttle, due to the air leak leaning out the mixture. So plugged the hose and it smoothed out. Made it to Illinois so far!

Good luck on your travels...it's always a great feeling hitting the road in a new old car...

hi nice looking post some more when your not going down hill :headbang:

Thanks, the alternator is making the belt squeal. I think the bearings are going out, causing it to drag some. Replaced the belt and volt reg. Auto Zone said the reg was bad. But the belt starts squealing after running for a few minutes. So ordered another alternator, will put it on today. Heading to Denver tomorrow, for Last leg of trip.

Are your pulley's aligned?

That's a REAL common issue.
