what the better choice ?

And have anyone chose the “ new” 62-65 -Body Headers in a 68 -Body ?

And when , why ?

I had with the 66 up Headers in 2 1/8” and it’s very tight to the steering shaft

Thanks in advance for any information

62-65 have a different K-frame so the pipes are different shape than the 66 up. Doubt if they will work on a 68.Went thru the same thing when doing my 65. Started the project using the 65 V8 K-frame with Shumacher Hemi mounts but installed a Kramer Hemi K-frame and the driver side header had issues that a hammer couldn't fix.Had to order the right ones for the right K-frame.

If it is only a mild 426" build the 2-1/8" will be fine. If actually, a bigger inch more of a race only engine. The 2-1/4" would be better but there may be some clearance issues. I have 2-1/4" on my 528"Hemi and had to ding and even modify my #1 tube due to rack for clearance.

Yes, I think too without a nice ding tge2 1/4“ will never fit . Maybe I can move also the steering box a little to the left it will helps for more clearance .
Because I prefer Also the 2 1/4“ pipes
