Wanted to share a project that I completed on the 68 Charger. First I wanted to say I am by no means an expert and this is the first time ever doing anything like this. I also sent all my switches out to Devin and as always he did an excellent job. It’s a fine balance of refurbishing without full blown restoration as my charger is not restored and will be a driver. I also did a quartz conversion for my clock. I purchased the kit from instrument services . I redid the chrome on the bezel with liquid chrome from hobby lobby. Purchased a white paint marker to do the lettering on the bezel. I also sanded and polished the lens. I’m only sharing as I hope to encourage others who might not want to spend a fortune to have theirs restored. I also purchased the gauge overlays from premium dash decals and it was a little tricky but they worked awesome. I promise if I can do this you surely can. It’s not perfect but it great for a driver.

Cluster installed with LEDs. May switch them out for green. Love having the original AM Radio working as designed with fader.

I was able to drive the car to work Saturday. Had been off the road since 1991. Everything went great!
