68 Charger quarter panels

This has been a pretty fun week removing the training wheels and putting the drivetrain/suspension in. The tires are 305/45R17 with 9 1/2” +6 offset wheels, got a good 1/2” clearance.

looks awesome, you're killing me
Wow thanks bud thats quite a compliment coming from the master!
To get your level of perfection tho, I would be doing it over. The shinier it got, the more I found the flaws. But I am not a show car guy, I am going to drive it and enjoy myself. It only has to look good enough to please me, and the more tired of sanding/polishing I get, the easier I am to please!

The training wheels served me well but it was a good day taking them off

Getting some sun to let that trunk weatherstrip relax a little.

My vinyl top material showed up yesterday- Gunmetal gray. I can get started on that now that the car is closer to the floor.

the body and paint guy was holding you up........ it's hard to get those guys to do anything

Good lord, that car has come a LONG way! Will you have it ready for the Charger meet at Ron's Drive In this September?

No, wont be that soon, I am going to do all the upholstery myself and that will take awhile. Maybe I could sit on a bucket and drive it there!

Started the little rascal up yesterday, a little fuel down the bowl bents and fired right off. Everything seems to be working well, no drips on the floor this morning except for rad. Hoses needing retorqued after first couple heat cycles. Forgot to photo the bottom, but put TTI exhaust on with 20 inch Dynomax Ultras. Sounds sweet.

Drove it around in the yard a bit sitting on cushions to get the air out of tranny and steering, going to park it in the garage for a couple weeks and work on something else for a minute.
