Hello, I am new here. I purchased a 1968 charger with an 08 chassis. I bought it running and driving but totally stripped. I got several of the parts with it but most of them are in desperate repair and or replacement. I have since purchased the complete front end sheet metal. Now on to present day. I have stripped it of the 5.7 hemi and trans and rear end and k member. Now up on the rotisserie for more welding and missing welding being redone. Next thing is for me to figure out what front subframe setup I will be using for the installation of the 2019 Hellcat engine. What have some of you used if you have built a project like this? Thank you all. I will be posting pics as I move forward with the project.

I'm not following, if you purchased the car complete with the 2008 chassis why don't you have the engine mounting/front suspension systems it came with? Does the new engine differ a lot from the 5.7?
Mike

Welcome and cool project!
As mentioned , your previous k frame setup was no good?

I used a Control Freaks front k-member and suspension purchased from mopar pro shop for my Hellcrate install into a 69 Charger. It had been great so far. Very slick installing everything from below.

Riley Motorsport makes a similar unit that people seem to like.

I assume you already know about the rear sump pan kit, 45-deg oil filter mount and the low profile intercooler manifold.

looks like you have a great car to start with.

Good luck!

I used Reily Motorsports 'AlterKtion' front rack set up on my challenger. Awesome set up! Only thing i don't like is that the 'turning circle' isn't quite as tight as with the stock K-member. Otherwise, very nice!

if you look at the k member its definitely a newer k member from the charger . what it sounds like he doing is getting rid of all that and going with a b body aftermarket coilover setup
I personally went with gerst suspension in my 68 coronet

Hello! Is it enough space for oil filter with 45 degree mount under oil coolant pipe diversion with RMS suspension? Thank you
