I'm prepairing my 68 Charger for paint. It's 383 4 speed car, now RT clone. I've found welded holes from vinyl roof and emblems on sail panels, but previous owner had painted roof. I want to stay with non vinyl roof, so do I need to put emblems? When it was placed from factory?

Regardless of the roof finish, there was Charger script from the factory.
Vinyl or painted roof would receive finish trim along the roofline.
