68 GTX dash swap

I would like to swap in an A/C dash to a 68 GTX. Is the base sheet metal for an A/C dash the same for Coronets, Roadrunners, etc? Or are Plymouths different? Is there a difference between 68 and 69 other than the size of the ignition core?

68 is on its own. All b-body non rallye is the same in 68. You can swap in a complete 69 and use 69 pads, heater control, etc.

I do believe the ignition is the only difference when a/c is used
