'68 Plymouth Satellite fuel gauge quit working after swapped to electric pump

So - maybe I'm going/gone crazy. Fuel gauge known good, works with mechanical fuel pump and pretty accurate. Switched to electric fuel pump, fuel gauge quit working. What did I forget?

To put the knocked off wire back on the sender... Pump has nothing to do with it. Sender wire off or loss of a ground path to the tank.
