Who has a picture of the CORRECT rear window trim clips for a '69 B-body ??

I had to massage the ones I got with a vice and punch to make them work. In my resto thread somewhere.. chasing a sick Granddaughter, I'll look later.

the black clips I played with would open for the trim, but not spring back; causing a loose fit........ the red AMD clips seem to be the bomb

The black clips have no locking tab, they press the trim against the body to retain it. If the clip is screwed in place as one would expect, then they're so tight you'll chip the paint installing the trim.

The red clips have a "tab" that holds the trim down in place. And they have more flex so they can be tightened down yet still give enough for the trim.

and if you try to "open them up" a little, they stay that way...... they need to be a little "springy"

These are the only originals I salvaged when the rear window was taken out about ten years ago. Many were rotten, others were badly twisted from removing the trim and others covered in black sealant. Last year when I was prepping to have the window installed the black clips are the one's DMT insisted were correct - and they still list them as being for '69 RR !!

So another question is: are they ALL the same or are the one's that secure the bottom trim different?
