Hi All,

Small detail…the white plastic clips circled in the photo….originally were they affixed hanging down like in the photo or were they turned up the opposite way?

i am just referring to these 2 clips only and not the rest.

Thanks

Far from original under my hood but I’m saying they should hang down…. and one should be broken and another replaced with a zip tie….

Thx Steven.

I thought I read somewhere they go the other way. Also I remember maybe seeing on some survivor cars they were the other way. Maybe some pics from RC.

I'm inclined to agree with the above picture, but my 68 survivor has them going the other way...

RC,

So it does look like they were "up" on those cars.

I only ask because a 50 year mopar guy walked by my car this summer and said "those go up". And I remember seeing your photos of them "up".

Maybe a plant or flavor of the day thing?

This thread has gotten me curious. So I had to go back to my original photos of my 23000 miler 70 Charger. Low and behold they were "up" St Louis car of course.

No right or wrong way. It just depends on who snapped them on during assembly.

My Road Runner is a St. Louis built car and my Charger is a Hamtramck built car & both have this wire retainer facing up. No definitive answer on the washer hose retainers.
