69 rr grille/hel bezels

I'm working on another 69 rr grille/hl bezels and should have it done by next week. I'll post some pics of the progress so far and when finished, will put in the for sale section.

The grille is in nice shape along with the hl bezels. Of course there were some dings/dents, but overall condition was nice. So far I have managed to strip and polish the bezels, and have stripped the grille. The correct dark argent silver (textured) should be in late this week.

Anyway, I just wanted to give a heads up and post some pics so everyone can see the progress.

Here's what I've done so far. The bezels are polished and waiting for paint. The grille is stripped and I need to fix a boo boo, which will be done today, then I'll polish it, mask off for the semi gloss black and shoot that and the bezels.

Also a pics of my new compressor....just had to modify the filter, lol!!

Bezels....

The bezels are polished and painted semi gloss black with a clear coat....the textured dark argent wont be here until late this week or early next week and will be painted then.

grille section...

I was able to fill in the boo boo, sanded, polished, and painted the black sections.....still waiting on the dark textured argent paint to show up.

Don't know why some pics are "fuzzy", sorry.

5.7....that looks incredible. Was that the belvedere grille you bought from me? If so....it certainly looks 1000% better.

Question, what are you using to remove the anodize?

Yep. that's the grille alright. Gonna make a 69 RR grille out of it.

The best all around way for us guys at home to removed anodizing is the heavy duty oven cleaner from easy off.....use the yellow can, NOT the blue one!!!!! And yes, it will take paint off.

The paint showed up late this afternoon, I'll mask and shoot it tomorrow.....pics will follow.
