70 bulkhead

I have a bad wire on my 70 satellite at the firewall connecter. It is in the second clip down on the engine harness. It is in the top right position. It is a heavier wire which goes to the starter relay. Sorry i dont have a pic but if you look at eagleone1983's thread asking for pics of a 69 bulkhead. in post 13 it is the wire which you can read numbers upside down 472 amoung others. At some point someone has put an inline fuse in it. i think they did this because at some point it has be hot. Enough to start to melt plastic.

Long explantion short my question is should this wire actually be a fusible link


sorry if this doesnt make much since ive been under my car for a couple hours and my head seems a little swimmy
 
Ok i bought a parts car today. It is a fusible link
