I was wondering if there were any rumors on if AMD will ever offer these? I tried to contact AMD and the email bounced.

I always had better luck calling this number 833-404-4777 when I had questions..

Good question. I have THIS fender that can be repaired but the brace behind it is something like 14 gauge. I wish that I could at least find a brace like this from any 68-70 fender to repair mine.

There are currently no plans to make 70 Charger fenders or hoods. I had to twist their arm to make the 70 Charger front valence pans. I offered up my NOS valence pan for them to template the part from. I was surprised when they did the front bumper. 70 Charger fenders and hoods are one year parts. The 68/69 Charger and Road Runner pieces are two model year pieces other than the marker lights and other minor changes.

Except you could make the case that they will be used on 69 Daytona as well. So 70 Charger and 69 Daytona.

They can be modified to fit a Daytona, but 70 Charger production was half of what 68-69 Charger production was,and Daytona production was 503 cars total, even with clones figured in,there is just not enough demand for them to justify the tooling costs to produce them. I would like nothing more than for them to make them,as I have five 70 Chargers. I offered to loan them my pair of 70 Challenger convertible NOS rear quarter panels for templating, and was told the same thing. With about 7000 Challenger convertibles built, there is just not enough demand for them! And they already produce the hardtop quarter panels for Challengers!

What would two front fenders and hood be worth if in "good" condition?

I have seen 70 fenders anywhere from $250 to $1000 each depending on condition, and hoods in the $200 to $600 range. There are people asking more than that, but there not selling them at those prices. The most I personally paid for a 70 fender was $550. I never had to buy a hood in the current market.

Hard to believe AMD is doing 71 and up hoods and fenders coming but won't do 70 fenders and hoods!

You would think, they’d try to manufacture the years they would sell the most of, 68-69 fenders. They wouldn’t be able to keep them in stock. I’m sure there’s a good reason though. No one, not wants to manufacture something. They know will make money.
