Looking on Stephens Mopar and they show trunk lid for 68/69 charger. Is the 70 different? Love that 1 year only :BangHead:

Externally they are the same. The underside structure is specific for ‘70 because it has cutouts for the optional Go Wing. Physically they will all interchange though…

To add to RT68440's post, the 68 trunk lid had an under skeleton like how hoods are made, 69's and 70's under skeleton were all solid with no openings.

Yes, the early '68s under structure was open in the recesses, just like a hood. Sometime during the year they were blocked off in the recesses, meaning that you could not see the underside of the skin. My April built '68 has the blocked off recesses.

Sometime in 70 they created openings for the Go Wing. So not all 70's have the openings, so the early 70's are still the same as 69.
So depending on when your 70 was built, will dictate what is correct for your 70.

The go wing was a mid year option on 70 Chargers, early built 70 Chargers do not have the cutouts for the go wing support braces in the underside structure.

They got rid of that design sometime between November and December 1967.
