Well, when I bought my car it was totaled & a complete basket case that came with 13 boxes of misc. parts. I determined that I have the correct tail light covers (apparently cover the wires/bulbs from inside the trunk), but stupid me can't figure out which way they go on and/or how they attach.

Does anyone have a picture of these inside their '70 Plymouth B-body? How do those suckers go in there? THANK YOU!

I probably didn't use the factory OE fasteners, but I found screws and fixings that were the correct thread and length....my car was partially disassembled when I bought it....

I hope they help.

BTW, the foam gaskets under my tail light fittings appears to be the source of my trunk leaking....the gaskets came from YO at great expense many years ago. I would like to know if anyone has a suggestion for a better alternative. :)

You know, my car was un-molested when I got it and there was "dumb-dumb" putty around the holes/studs/speed nuts where the outer tail light housings come through the trunk. Maybe you could find some of that stuff or remove the speed nuts, put a dab of clear silicone in the hole/stud area & replace the speed nuts? That's be my guess anyway. I can't see how the foam gaskets themselves would leak???
