I need to remove the grill as i want to replace the headlights. When you pop the hood there is a black plastic strip attached to the grill that runs along the front in front of the radiator. It is attached by a bolt in the center and a round plastic fastener at each end also black.
What is the procedure for removing those 2 end ones, do you pry them up

Well now that I see the pic I will presume they are plastic push in clips. There is a tool to remove them in a safer fashion than just prying them out with a screwdriver. They probably look like these.

Are you still working on your grille?? If you are, removing the center section is not necessary to change the lights. But if you need some of the push clips, i have a small supply of them. I'd gladly send you some.

To replace the lights just remove the four screws on each side bezel, the center grill stays.
