Good afternoon, when I originally posted my car someone was kind enough to post an article with a plethora of info about it. It included much about its origin and some really cool photos. Me being the blockhead that I am misplaced that info.

Would it happen to be from this post in the thread you started?

I would suggest that you join the Daytona-Superbird Auto Club (DSAC). Doug, the president, has a web site for the DSAC-you can google it. Tell Doug what you have and he will help you out.

You might want to buy a copy of the 4 page 1970 dealer announcement brochure from Doug. There are occasionally originals of this brochure for sale. Most always for stupid money. Plus you don't know how to tell an original from a copy. I know a bit about it but I'd be scared to buy one in today's market. The $12 copy is good enough. You can get from the DSAC.

There is also a 1970 Superbird press kit from late 1969 or early 1970. The last time I saw one was 2007 or so. It had I believe 5 pictures of your car. Extremely hard to find.

There are a number of pictures of your car from the press kit available from time to time. Persistence.

If you go to youtube, search "1970 Plymouth Rapid Transit System" you will find a copy of a dealer filmstrip from 1970. There are 3 pictures of your car in it at the end.

I've been a member of the WW/NBOA club since 1980. Go to www.wwnboa.org $30 per year.

I am also a member of DSAC. Doug is a great guy.

It is good to stay informed.

Redbird, your info is very helpful. Thank you! I am going to reach out to Doug and join DSAC and get a copy of the dealer announcement brochure

Vinny, thanks for the info on WW/NBOA I will also join that

Very cool bird, if you’re gonna keep it in its current condition I’d highly suggest submitting the car for the muscle car and Corvette nationals show in November for their barn finds and hidden gems display. being the lowest vin Superbird it would be a great addition. Would love to see the car there
