71/72 EFI gas tanks work on a 73?

Can someone confirm or deny if an aftermarket EFI gas tank for a 71/72 will work in a 73? The aftermarket companies appear to cut off their availability at 72 and do not offer a 73 EFI gas tank. It’s my understanding that 74 has a humped tank but 71-73 are essentially the same. Could it be slight differences in venting or fill tube locations that make 71/72 tanks different than 73? Can a 71/72 aftermarket EFI gas tank be easily used in a 73? Thanks.

The tanks are the same dimensions but the tank straps are different. I put an Aeromotive efi tank in my 74 that had the hump and it was a decent fit. Filler neck is the same but getting a good fitting gasket is important. I reused the original straps.
