I’m assuming there is a seal between the steel hood and the fiberglass bubble/bulge on the 71 roadrunner airgrabber hood. Anyone have a source to purchase one or a DIY tip for making one?

I'm not 100% sure what was used at the factory, but my hood was restored back in the 90's. They used what appeared to be double sided 3M tape. It fit perfectly in the groove in the fiberglass around the perimeter and sealed up pretty good. I plan on using the same stuff when I go to reassemble it back together. Curious what others have used.

I believe it's the same as a 70 air grabber. You can find them online as a "trap door seal". I can't remember where I bought mine...maybe Mancini???

Not what he is asking for, DMT has the bubble to hood seal and all others.

Thanks for the help everyone. Still haven’t found a solution. Even a picture of what someone used and doesn’t remember what it is could help.
