72 charger trunk lid

Have what I believe is a 72 trunk lid. Found in an attic. Looks low mileage. Still has jack instructions. No rot no skin separation that I heard was common and still has lock. Very minimal surface rust. Trying to get a value on it. I’m currently at work but will put up pics when I get home at roughly 230 cst. I live in north central Illinois. Any help or ideas would be appreciated

I can’t recall. I’m going to get a better look when I get home and take pics. Plus I want to see how the lock is attached cuz I guess that gives you a better idea of the year

AFAIK, only 74 has a different lock mount, but I could be wrong.

71 and 72 have 4 squares where the inner sheet metal has been stamped out where the mounting bolts for a spoiler would be.

Can't really help with value but any that are without rust are valuable.

That's a 73-74 lid based on the lock and under structure. They work fine on a 71-72

Could bring $300 - $400, might take a bit though. 71-72's in that shape bring more.
