Starting a search for a 727 transmission any condition a core is fine fitment is 1970 440 4 barrel,The part number below the shift lever 3410670

Yes the 300 had that same trans

I did just check tonight and the trans was changed. The car was pretty much untouched, So I thought it would have been the original. Sorry.
