Anyone have some pics of how/where you ran your cooler lines? I got a new B&M stacked plate cooler for my 73 Charger and am trying to decide where I want to run my lines to mount on the front side of the radiator.

Thanks!

I use half inch oil proof hose
route away from exhaust, suspension and no sharp bends
I have a transdap adapter and filter so if the converter(clutch) goes (again) I do not loose the cooler
I cut the filter open every once in a while to check for signs of bad things

I used 3/8" aluminum tubing for my rear mounted oil cooler with rubber hose at transmission for flex. The first photo shows the lines coming through the torsion bar anchor transitioning to aluminum fastened to the sub frame connector. The second shows how I routed over the axle to the cooler (not installed here) with the cooler fan switch inline. In the background are fuel supply and return lines and 2 fuel cell vent filters.

I'm guessing you already have stock cooling lines. I would route to the radiator, then run a line from the radiator to the cooler. Then from the cooler to the other factory cooling tube. Also mount the cooler with a few inches between it, and the radiator. Have mine this way for decades.

I do have the stock lines. My challenge is that I have limited space to run the new 5/8 lines so trying to figure out where to run them from the out on the radiator cooler to the new external cooler and then back to the line to the transmission. I don't want the new lines hanging down low and catching on something so I don't want to go under the radiator and then up the front side. I am not sure if most people pop holes in sheet metal in the fender well area for example to get from underside rear of radiator to front side of radiator where the cooler is mounted and then back?

The lines should be 5/16, not 5/8. If you use more steel line, with bends made correctly, you can go under the car, as I did, using line clamps to secure the lines. or you can go with a hole, but use a grommet, to keep the lines from rubbing.

My bad yep meant 5/16! Thanks for the suggestions!
