Ok, so the glass does have a few scratches. Not awful but they are there. The remote seems to work as well as any mopar mirror that I've owned from that era and does move in all directions. How you position the cable inside the door will effect how well the control works (no kinks, etc). The mirror stays in place on the work bench, can't say what it will do once it's on a car. It's "good driver" quality to my mind but that's subjective.
