Unfortunately, the Chinese reproduction dome emblems are a compromise between do it cheaply and rightfully? The left one is the original one obviously. The black paint (?) is long gone. I assume is should be black. I don't see any black paint residu.

The lower part of the original emblem is brushed metal. Only the raised part shine. The reproduction shines everywhere.

I am planning to paint the ring black by hand and leave it further as it is.

Your charger needs a set of cragars.

Well, actually Gragars are modern wagon wheels. Never noticed? Besides, your car does not need them. It's over the top and somewhat childish it seems. Looks very cheap too. There is nothing geniune to those wheels, so it does not add value to a classic car. So I don't bother. Not sure your why car stands so high on its wheels. Looks like a SUV. Thanks anyway for your advise. If your wheels make you happy, well keep on dreaming man. Not my cup of thee. Nice car though. But those wheels... pfff.

This is a cool car (not mine) with the chrome version of the mag 500 wheels. Takes a lot of coolness and courage to have it done the way it was designed.

I wish that was my car. Magnum 500s and road wheels are cool. I have some for my 67 R/T. But Cragars, (like a big set of knockers) would really enhance your Charger. By all means, stick with road wheels if you choose. Not everyone likes big boobs. You seem a little biased. Do you happend to chair the itty bitty titty committee or something?

Not interested. Does not make sense. I bought the car 3 years ago with 15" 7-225 front tires and 15" 8-275 back tires. I downgraded them to 215-255. Next step is full stock. Also downgraded the gearing to stock and got stock rear shocks and got rid of the air-sh*t. What a disaster was that. Not to mention the "enhanced" exhaused pipes. LOL! The whole package looked like a misplaced young adolenscence pipe dream built on social and mental envy conditioned by our liberal society, where hapiness brain pills are implanted not long after birth with periodical boosters at every stage of our development. At some point the rimbooster is administered and off you go, and you probably land on this forum asking if 295 tires will fit your wheel wells, because emptiness has to be filled with stuff, right?

At least you're not going with 17 or 19" magnum 500s but i still think your 74 charger needs 15" cragars with a 295 rear tire. You're not putting it in a museum. Be a rebel. Now can you answer me one question? Why are people called Dutch when they live in the Netherlands but they're from Holland? Dank je

I went with these Dynacorn 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels, because I wanted to run 15 inch F60 Polyglass tires. I had to trim the tabs down on the center cap retainers to make the factory center caps fit.

If this (not my car) is not good enough, then I can't help you. You then have lost the plot of owning a classic car, because of it's classic looks. The only thing for you is to go with the masses and show off your 'Gragars' on the next wagon wheel beauty pageant. I hope you won't eat your hart out again and your tires are the biggest boops of them all! If not, just order new ones and off you go! Don't forget to put on your flow master, so all the women will notice you have all a men can get! :). I hope that their boops also fit your taste! Then it's a bingo.

Not sure about the Dutch, Netherlands, Holland thing. I think Ali can help you as we call AI over here. Ali is hilarious!

Nice wheels (best reproduction on the market), but the car then looks more like a 1015 One more Time jukebox. Not quite classic. Ring too small, too much bling, not brushed? Nice tires though. They look original? and a very nice add on those (original?) domes. I noticed that the original domes are somewhat wider at the bottom? I am looking for 14" (reproduction) polyglass G70-14 tires. I almost got them! Those design guys back in the day had a good balanced and nuanced taste I approciate more and more. The modern day 2 industry is getting complete out of hand. But it makes masses drool! The Pavlov (dog) effect is a real mental thing. Even with humans! Ever heard of classical conditioning?

With all due respect, but this is the only real deal (not my car) on the market. Period. End of story.

O, being a rebel, means go with 14". You think you are a rebel, but you just become a regular guy with the taste of the masses. I am the one of the few rebels left. Everyone around me just became mass men. From China with love!

The ring area is brushed, that is why I bought them. 14 inch tires do not fill the wheel wells on a 68 to 70 Charger. They give the car the Duster effect that the rear track looks narrower than the front due to the flares of the rear quarters.

Well, sounds like a classic car designed how it was meant. The rest is mindset.

A Magnum 500 rebel back then. A Magnum 500 rebel right now. Running wild. It's in the brand: Magnum. Cragar?

When Chrysler offered the 15 inch rallye wheels in 1970,they should have updated the road wheels to 15 inch as well. Motor Wheel made them for Ford in 1969.

14" wheel were the rock solid industry standard back in the day for many practical, comfort and technical reasons, especially regarding the Magnum 500 wheels as I understand it.

Well I understand that you struggle with 'The Duster effect', Wheel wells with space, and "flares" of the rear quarters. Wow, a classic car gives you plenty to solve that the designers completely overlooked all those years. I think you have to upgrade the whole car to meet the standard of modern day cars. Don't forget blue tooth and fitting speakers for a nice sound experience that can meet nowaday standards. Wow man. Problems are man made they say. A lot to solve: exhaust sound? Leaf spring replacement? Battery on/of switch? Gearing? Don't forget sexy stickers?
