742 Rear end Torqued

Im gonna change the rear seal in my 742 rear end was told torque 240lbs for the nut, Question is do the 2 straps that hold the universal in also have to be torqued down ? if so to what lbs? thanks

The torque specification for the universal joint retaining strap screws is 170 in-lbs.
