Can you open it up and take pics of the guts? They are not hard to take apart or to reassemble. I would like to see what condition the cones etc are in....
Yup, it's a cone type SG. Take a pair of these and step on the bottom 'T' and give the top T a good hard twist. If it's kinda easy to turn, it needs work but may still be machinable to make it good again but if it's real easy to turn, it's probably past the machinable stage....and the only way to know is to open it up. I'll buy it from you if you guarantee to be good...that is if no one has spoke for it yet. I've been burned by those too many times in the past to buy anymore without me checking them with this tool I made or without seeing pics of the guts.
