Time to get Blown!!!
Still waiting on parts, but went ahead and started the install.
Used my son as a human lift to sit the blower on the engine.
Pretty exciting for me, but I'll try to take more pictures as the blower
install comes along. Yeehaaaa!!!!

what internals does the 440 have. i'd like to slap on forced induction without messing with my 440s innerds

Stock cast crank, rods and cast pistons!
All the big blower companies say it's ok. Just don't over rev it or
put more than 6lbs of boost to it. I don't race anymore and I only have
about $600 in the engine. So I'm going to find out how much it will take!

Psst...need some hood pins to hold that cardboard hood on!!

Seriously tho...that looks great!

Man I know this is sounds crazy but I totally agree with the blower companies, my cast crank 440 was dynode @540 HP 588 TQ, I then add a 250 Shot of Nitrous, on a trans Brake !! Leaving @3000 RPM & Shifting at 5000 RPM, so personally if you are mindful of your crank when on the peddle, your not gonna have any problems !!

Looks fun! I wonder if there's a way to mount a blower, but still run an A/C compressor and power steering?

Sounds great, looks great

Gotta' love the sound of a big huffer on anything

take it easy on them free revs

I wouldn't worry much about the cranks
the bearings & piston skirts or pins, I would tremor in fear...
it'll last till it breaks :poke:have fun while it lasts

I hope you have a blow-off valve {spring loaded at a min.}
or burst plate, back off the timing a bit or have it come in slower,
run really good gas too {or methanol alcohol}, good ignition system...

I know you can add power steering. I just bought the single V groove pulley.
Bought mine at Big Al's Toy Box. They make billet pulleys and spacers.
Very helpful too.
