FOR SALE A-833 OD 4-speed

A-833 Truck OD 4 speed (9-22-83) fits 76-86 truck/van. Steel shifter mount fits truck, levers are 68-70 B Body, unsure of shifter rods. Hurst handle and shifter body appear to be 68-69 B Body, Tail-shaft same as 70-74E & B (rear not drilled), Trans yoke. Picked up in a bulk sale - I think previous owner was looking to convert and put this in a 69 RR but never followed through (it does not currently have the B-body mounting plate). I disassembled, cleaned/lubed shifter and it works much better. Gears inside look good and shifts well. Will need a gasket kit at minimum.

$650 for all

$450 trans w/mount only / $250 shifter assy (body, handle, rods, levers)

You will need to get a different size front bearing retainer. Check with Brewers or Passion. You would also need the b-body shifter mounting bracket but most likely if your Belvedere is a 4-speed you would already have that. This is a fairly common swap to gain the OD function. I would think that there is plenty of info on the various Mopar sites to cover this. I will have the trans at Carlisle this week.

Still interested. 62305 if you don't sell. Brewers is closed until 7/13 @ Carlisle. Was a floor auto car.
