A little storm last night

Somebody was lucky, this happened last night in Okmulgee ok during a severe storm. The apartment was empty waiting for the new renters to move in today.

we had a lightning strike, like 15+ years ago
hit a 100'+ 4'+ diameter Ponderosa Pine tree behind US
the only time in decades seen/heard one so close
some scary ****
it freaken' exploded, literally shredded the treetop, like 50' of it
it was the loudest thing I've ever heard
sorry no photos
the lady behind US cut it down for firewood, like 10+ years ago
Mother Nature is a cruel BITCH

but;
it happens far more farther upcountry,
or over the ridge in the Yosemite area
where there's lots more of exposed Granite & huge/tall trees
