66 Coronet, the chrome trim piece at bottom of pillar where it meets the top of the quarter. I need a sealer when I mount these pieces - 3 speed nuts from the interior. I was thinking windshield butyl sealer. It's soft and looks like it would seal well. If the three points are not sealed, I can see water getting through there and onto the floor pans. I do not want to use silicone sealer. Anyone have a better idea or suggestion?
