A833 18 spindle B body or A Body

I have some parts that i may tarde for a A833 18 spindle the guys that has this transmission told me that according with the previos owner all the parts came from the same car but i am not sure. How can i know if is for b body?
Also looks that somwone grind down the pad where the vin go.

I ask the same question and this guy's told me that the shifter hit the cross member, ergo you need a b / e body transmission or modify this one.

That is a B body 4 speed in the pics the pedals look like b body as well but can’t tell what year with the pic

here’s an A body short extension housing.

All the A body A833’s I’ve seen are the 23 spline with the 307 bearing. I’m not sure what the BO/LO cars had but I’d imagine 18 spline.
