A833 Stamp Pad

What year did Chrysler start using the stamp pad on the A833 case for the VIN and Production Information??

Roughly mid year 68. What month I am not sure, but my 68 Hemi 4 speed has the pad and stamping info. I have read mid year started the Vin Stamping on the side of trans on the pad.

Thanks......I picked one up off of a guy, but it didn't have the pad. Tail housing casting number shows 66-68 B body. Also the front input carrier is small bearing and that casting number shows 69 back. Thinking it must be a 1968 or earlier production??
