My 72 Charger was a factory air car but compressor is gone. Prior owner ran new hoses and put a new heater core in it. I don't plan on putting AC back in it but the way it is set up now the heater is always on and the fan is on low, so hot as hell.
I am pulling the dash to do some wiring work so would be a good time to resolve the heat issue. Can I just block a line and go from there? What exactly? Thanks-

To turn the heat off you need a heater control valve. it is cable operated in 72.
