I am in the process of restoring the AC vents. The middle vent is plastic, haven’t gotten to that one other than disassemble. The end ones made of aluminum I am restoring now, and have the paint stripped.
Questions:
What paint and finish, looks almost textured.
The knob at the bottom circled in the pic (pic stolen from an old post in this forum ). Anyone know where to source that or what would make a good substitute.
In the next pic with the raw aluminum blade, I need to find a way to pin the blades together. They are all broken per the attached pic where circled. I suppose drill these out and replace with what? I am open to suggestions.
