I'm attempting to adjust the shifter linkage in my 69 Roadrunner with a 383 and a 4 speed. I understand putting a pc of .25 drill rod through the .25 hole to line everything up with the 1-2 and 3-4 shifter arms. But my reverse arm doesn't have that hole.
What do I do ? Can I just eyeball it and line it up with the other 2 ?

Yes. The levers are all lined up together when adjusting.

When lined up correctly, the back side of all 3 levers will be flush with the 2 notches of the housing. See where the pen is pointing.
