aftermarket gauges 1970 road runner

Im thinking of putting aftermarket gauges in my 1970 road runner using the original rally face plate.Has anyone tried this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have seen it done. Some look nice and some not so nice. You should add up all the numbers for what all the parts will cost first. And then compare what you will have to all the extras you will get going with a Dakota Digital base unit. 1968- 70 Dodge Charger, Super Bee, Coronet R/T, 1970 GTX and Road Runner

Thanks for the reply. I will check that out. The car is a patinaed kinda rusty survivor Im making it fun driver. so trying to save a little money,

Then use the factory gauges. Aftermarket stuff will literally do nothing for you except add cost.
