Aftermarket or late model seats in Early B body cars

Mine has seats out of a 78 Dodge Aspen R/T that have been reworked. Head rests are a little fat for my liking but they are comfortable.
The seats do recline which is nice.

can you share how you mounted them and if you had any challenges?

Well as luck would have it the outer mounts by the rocker panels from the original split bench lined up with the buckets seats outer mounts. just had to drill the inner stud holes close to the trans. tunnel and reinforce with a titanium plate under the floor pan. Seat belt mounts on either side of the tunnel stayed original.

I put these 1984 5th Ave seats in my 65 Coronet

Yeap, I have Corbeaus in my Corvette, some kind of Scion seats in the Ranchero and Procar seats in the Coronet. Except for the Dodge they don’t really match but I’m still happy every time I sit in them. It’s better for my back and makes the drive more enjoyable for me.
Right on,to each their own!

I put some recovered Recaro seats in my 68 charger. Eventually want to redo the back seat, but with the change to steering wheel, 5 spd and seats, I think they blend in pretty well.

PT cruiser convertible seats in my 68. Not 100% complete yet but they will be spot welded to factory pedestals. They sit nice, recline, fold forward for rear access, and removable headrests if desired. And they are lightweight. I’m

Procar by Scat. Seat tracks didn't line up with factory holes in floor.

This was taken before the new seat belts and lower mounting bracket was installed further back than these.
