What does header have to do with the Z bar on the automatic?

Try putting the straight bar in with headers on. More than likely it will have to be changed

Done it and had no problems. The bar comes threw the floor behind the trans pan. So where is the problem? If you are trying to horizontally install it that could be a problem.
