I have a 383 Air grabber and a Six Pack Non Fresh Air air cleaners. Do you think the resale value is more for the untouched are repainted?

Depends largely on the condition of originals, but I personally favor unrestored stuff. You can see exactly what you’re getting and can decide for yourself if it’s necessary to restore and how best to restore it. It’s only original once.

Save your time and materials. Unrestored, or blasted to bare Metal.

I don’t buy painted parts, usually crappy work and junk parts under the paint.
