Air grabber air cleaner

I am restoring my 69 RR air grabber air cleaner. I purchased a can of Chrysler street hemi orange from vht.

I sprayed one side but I am not to happy with the finish quality. I did not spray it in a booth so it has some dust in the paint.

I am debating to have it painted with base and clear or have it powder coated.

Which would have a better finish quality?

Anyone have the paint numbers or powder number?

Powder would be the best.

I don’t know if it matters to you, but the Air Grabber lid is a slightly different shade of orange than the engine itself. I put the paint on a little heavy and gave it a quick color sand and polish to get rid of the dust nibs.

The paint had good coverage, one can was plenty.

Lid is to match the orange of the air filter ruɓber.

I think the bottom of it is supposed to be black with a Made In Canada stamp on it. You can get the paint for the top from Frank Badalson.
