Has anyone ever modified edelbrock performer heads to allow a petronix distributor to fit?

What is the issue with Edelbrock heads and a Pertronix distributor? Why wouldnt they work together? Is it a 440?

Yes, I had to grind a little clearance for mine to fit. Pertronix Ignitor 2 with Edelbrock Victors on 440.

Here are some photos. Let me know if you need better ones.

Those are perfect, how much do you estimate that you removed?

Had to knock down stock iron heads to get the Pertronix to fit. Basically just had to grind down the casting flash.

With the Victor heads, most of what I had to take off was at the raised intake port surface(where intake bolts to head). The other area (closer to where the alternator is bolted), I didn't have to take a lot off. I think it was just enough to skim that section.
