Always wanted a 66

My name is Louie and I own a 1966 Dodge Charger 383. When I bought the car it had absolutely nothing inside but the dash I test drove it on a milk crate. I’ve always wanted one since I was about seven years old when my dad built his I begged him not to sell it but he did and needless to say it got wrapped around a pole. I just got married last year for the first time and my wife knew that it was my dream to own a 66 Charger and she found one and we went and got it. Paint should happen sometime next year I am letting my brother paint it he is really good at metalwork and painting he has won awards for his work at some really big car shows. I’m sure I will have plenty of questions so thank you for adding me.

Welcome. Looks like a really solid basis for a nice car. The interior pieces Shown look to be nice condition. Yeah the top pie plate as they call it, usually sits on top the air cleaner lid. That’s kind of innovative to use as the lid itself. But, if it manages to seal tight to the filter, I guess it will get the job done.
