I had to sign off on our new police car last week and it was delivered today. We couldn’t get a Charger this year with the V8. The V6 all wheel drive is not a pursuit vehicle in my mind. Sooooooo we bought the Mustang. I kinda like it.

Nice car.... I hope you at least got a chance to take it for a spin Mike.

How are they going to transport an arrested person in a Mustang? With the radio and other related cop equipment that needs to be mounted on the dash, you can see that impeded onto the passenger’s side. A motorcycle would have been a lot cheaper.

All the aging Charger cop cars up here are being replaced with Explorers and F150 Fords. How come they didn’t go that route?

We went from Chargers to Durangos a couple years ago. Way more room for our camera and router equipment.

A lot of late model cars show up at our local spring and fall T&Ts. The Mustang GT500 is my favorite and would be my first pick if I was buying a late model muscle car.

We have the F150 also. The Mustang is the chief’s car, he calls for transport.

Yes, you are a traitor as the car is not green.

LEO around here in my county are bringing in used Chargers from other departments in Georgia, new F-150 trucks, new Dodge Durangos, and new Chevy Tahoes.

Savannah PD abandoned the Chevy & Ford FWD cars and almost exclusively use Ford SUVs.

Georgia State Patrol seems to be using the Durango in my area. They are still using Chargers too. I haven't seen them using the new Ford Police Interceptor Utility or Mustang GT.

There is one LEO here using a black Challenger with black department lettering. It must be a Hellcat. That car accelerates like a missile. It's unreal.
