Rescued another great one from the north country and you're going to love it! I'm going to start with some teasers and ad to it as I clean it up and ad some parts.
No engine or trans and is currently not a sure grip but does have an open center section in it. Hood is not the original but is a very nice standard Road Runner hood. All body numbers are present along with the tag on the door and dash and the title is clear. No build sheet but the decode on the fender tag makes this car a truely stunning car to restore. Early car built around August 29th `69.
Out back It will need quarters, outer wheelhouses, trunk floor/extensions, rear crossmember and tailpanel.
In the middle it is a little more solid but will need some inner rocker work, the drivers door is shot and the floors are thin but no gaping holes. The very end of the torsion bar crossmember is thin but does not need to be replaced just patched. Roof is good.
Up front the car is pretty solid and I would say the fenders are salvageable but you may choose to replace them. Inner fender aprons are nice even around the hood hinges and the cowl, firewall and door pillars are all solid.
No other frame issues.
Included is a decent bench seat core with good tracks and a good core for the back seat.
4 spd pedals are there and comes with a rallye cluster that is rough and incomplete. Have most of the dash plastic and it seems to be in solid but faded along with the kick panels and A pillar covers. Headliner, sun visors, rear view and shoulder belts are still there but will definitely need new headliner. Missing driver side rear glass and the windshield will need replaced but I will try and come up with the missing piece. I think most of the exterior trim is with it including the vinyl top trim but I have yet to sort through it.
Taillights are there but rough and the original trunklid is shot but one that is a little better is included and I think is repairable. Grille is decent but needs restored as well. Missing passenger torsion bar but I have one to go with it and the front sway bar is also missing. Bent engine crossmember as shown in the pics.
Picture a burnt orange with a white top and a white over burnt orange interior, which I can't say I've ever seen before! Then stir the stew with a pistol grip hit the air grabber switch and you're damn close to heaven!
Very restorable car! I have half a mind to keep it but can't so someone is going to get really lucky here.
Asking $4,750 and am open to shipping anywhere at your expense of course. Located in the Detroit area.
More pics to come!

matt, cool ride, love to have one like that even one to restore.

That is an awsome color combo.

Not sure how to say this nicely but you suck! lol I miss my 70 RR. Where do you keep finding all these great cars? Starting to think to sell my 68 Dart and replace my B body Mopar. GLWS!

Man, id like to find some of these cars around here! Ummm, I wonder what i could get for my Ram! Of course then there's nothing to tow it home with, im going to get into trouble with wife and my thinking! lol.. Matt, don't know where ya found that nice bird, but I like! Cool car coming for some lucky one...

Lucky guy.

I'm almost as lucky as you are. see my gallery Roadbird got some pics on there and I paid only $3,200. Comes with 2 383 H.P. motors...lol. You got a real good one there though. I'm also looking for a 1970 RR to restore after the 69. Or hopefully a 68 anywho I love the Roadrunners and wished the factory just made the 426 HEMI the standard engine for them. But 440's and H.P.383's work just fine. Hi five brada.

Wow! Awesome project Matt. Stunning combo's. Very very tempting. If I didn't need money to stick into a motor, you would be seeing me in Detroit pronto. Someone's going to end up with an awesome car. I agree, very restorable. Love seeing the northern ones saved.

Here are some more pics, thanks for all the great comments gents!
Open to offers as always.

I thought you knew I did, in fact I remember you telling me that the color was growing on you as well.
Still without power(except generator) been out since 1 pm yesterday. Kind of Chilly in this house this morning!
Here are a few more pics, cleaned up the back seat and put it in and crwled around underneath for a while. Someone had removed the rear shock/leaf spring plates and installed some traction bars that had no attachment point for the shocks themselves???? What good are traction bars without rear shocks is what I want to know! Anyway I'm putting them back the way they should be along with an old set of shocks I have laying around. It'll be easier to trailer without the back end bouncing around. Underside looks good on this car for a rustbelt project!

It has been proven that ANY car can be restored and this car should be. Be alot of work but returned to it's original colors what a beautiful car it would be.
Do you have any pictures of your 68 R/T? Would love to see them if you have them.
