Yet another positive shout-out to Tom, aka @moparsaver . I had asked Tom a few weeks ago if he mind forwarding me some small items I needed, as he alsready had something for me, and was looking for a reason to ship it. He was all good with that, so things got easy buying from DMT.

Some of you might have seen Tom post pictures of an odometer he found in a parts stash a friend of his owns. Well, Tom being Tom, he saw that NOS odometer and knew immediately who it should be united with. Without even hesitating, he grabbed it, and then let me see the pics of it. A pretty rare find in my opinion....a NOS odometer for a Dodge A100, in km/hr as well - Canadian part obviously. I was extremely pleased to see that.....saves a lot of mental arithmetic while driving. :)

Tom also found his way to packing the consolidated box to me with a few other goodies he found.....and I was not disappointed. A box full of treasure.:lowdown::lowdown::lowdown::lowdown:

Tom is the man! Several times I bought parts from him,and came home to find them hand delivered to my door!

Great stuff !! I have bought from him before, several years ago now, but always well packaged !!

Tom sent me two more whisky glasses........he wants one of them to be given to my buddy Cliff.....so we can have a drink in matching glasses.

How many people are so generous as to do something like that.....Tom, you are the man.

Thank you.

Great score! One small point though, they didn't come out with kms in Canada till about 76, 77 I believe. Maybe Mexican?

Is this gas gauge metric too?

I thought the standard ones had the E and F reversed.

That is what is known as the "Metric/Imperial crossover" gauge....or aka Universal gauge.

When New Zealand went metric back in the early 1970's (it took a while) we had small yellow triangles for the odometers on cars - they were placed by owners to allow drivers to know what speed they were doing without the mental calculations.

That was for cars that didn't have the dual readout - some cars had an inner ring with km/hr markings also.

Perhaps a link or other advertisement for his company is in order here?

I've got my eye on those classes.
"Whiskey In the Jar".

Have a good time but don't ride "The Whiskey Train".
